WELCOME TO ANNE’S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SITE

Occupational therapy – skills for the job of living.  This is one of the slogans of AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association).  Occupational therapy is aimed at giving people the skills they need to function optimally in life.

The following pages are dedicated to Sensory Integration and Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD). Click HERE for a video on Sensory Processing Disorder.

SPD is often misdiagnosed, giving incorrect labels to children and adults who suffer from this invisible disorder.  If you are a parent who knows something is wrong with your child, but not what others are saying, please give the following pages a glance.  If you are a teacher or other professional, please take a look as it may give you new insight into that ‘difficult’ child.  If you are that "eccentric" person, know that you are not alone.

Anne is the Director of ‘Anne’s OT for kids’, an occupational therapy clinic with an emphasis on sensory integration therapy.  For more about Anne, please click here.
